CONTEXT:

CONTEXT:

Hibernum Creations is looking for a seasoned and passionate animation director to lead our team of animators through both in-game and (potential) film projects. This position will focus heavily on team management and mentoring with the expressed goal of taking Hibernum animations to best-of-class level. The animation director will also be responsible for creating and managing the animation team’s creative vision, in general, and in collaboration with art and game directors on specific projects. This role is ideal for a director who can leverage technical, creative and management experience effectively in the service of building on our foundations and evolve our animation team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in coordinating the technical and aesthetic animation processes in the service of visual and design goals;
  • Work with team members and production, code and art teams to define key project milestones;
  • Participate in developing and supporting run-time game animation procedures & pipelines in Unity 3D;
  • Responsible for establishing key character animation and animation bible for game projects and series with the Lead Animator and Director;
  • To ensure the high standard of animation is maintained throughout all our productions;
